TRIVIA: How many writing credits does Brian Jones have on Rolling Stones albums?

ANSWER: None. Although Brian was widely regarded as a talented musician and multi-instrumentalist and purportedly wrote or co-wrote some of the early Stones songs, he was never given a writing credit. At the time of his death, he was supposedly writing and composing music. Unfortunately all of the tapes have been lost. Jones actually did receive a writing credit for a Rice Krispies jingle that the Stones recorded under a pseudonym, but the question above refers specifically to the “Rolling Stones”. Wikipedia also states: “A second song, “Sure I Do”, was written, recorded and sung completely by Jones in 1963, but the only known copy of it remains in Bill Wyman’s “Sticky Fingers” restaurant. It remains unreleased and to date no one is known to have listened to it.”
